The Chinese government (link) has decided that spending too much time online playing games is not good for you. Rather than let the people decide what is best for them, the government will take away experience and weapons away from characters as a form of punishment. Do we need any more reasons why having an organization consisting of governments like this running the Internet is a bad idea? Almost makes we wonder if they also monitor what a character says just like they monitor blogs.
